Insurance and Risk Management

Insurance and Risk Management

Protecting your business is never an easy feat, which is why Delivery Drivers, Inc. (DDI) offers a variety of insurance options and risk management solutions. DDI offers expertise on risk management for contractors from the beginning including self-employed injury insurance called OCC/ACC to protect driver-partners for an injury sustained while on the job.

We know that insurance isn’t one size fits all. Whether your company serves a local market, or serves customers nation-wide, DDI has your insurance needs covered. With tailored insurance options for nearly every size business, DDI is able to leverage economies of scale for competitive rates.

Risk Management

Prioritizing and assessing risk can be complicated when working with driver-partners. With DDI’s nearly 25 years of experience, we help you focus on what unknowns to plan for and we’re here to help monitor and control impacts of unfortunate events.

Occupational Accident Insurance (OCC/ACC)

Most driver-partners or independent contractors are not typically covered by workers’ compensation policies. That’s why DDI offers competitively priced OCC/ACC designed for driver-partners. In the event of an injury on the job, driver-partners' medical expenses can be covered by occupational accident insurance, up to $250,000/year. During the enrollment process, driver-partners learn about insurance and how it fits into their delivery business.

Claims Support

Your dedicated team is also available for claim support. You can rely on your dedicated account manager to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of claims to make the process as easy as possible.
