Chief Executive Officer
Aaron is a successful entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in building scalable businesses, organizational leadership, and strong, long-lasting teams. In 2004 Aaron took the wheel of Delivery Drivers, Inc. (DDI) and pushed this company to experience incredible growth. His focus with DDI has been the 1099/Gig 'solopreneur' economy and with our great success DDI has gone from 3 thousand drivers to almost 15 thousand in just a few short years. The COVID-19 pandemic created a HUGE demand for what DDI does and have experienced growth internally. With 70 employees and counting, we have been able to promote team members and launch careers.
Outside of work Aaron is a mentor and teaches many different entrepreneurs, both successful and ones looking for their next big break. He is a global leader in The Entrepreneur's Organization (EO) a global network leader of over 13 thousand entrepreneurs in over 70 countries. In addition to these great achievements, Aaron also donates his time to help fight homelessness in Southern California with a non-profit organization he is a member of, Chrysalis, they help bring jobs to the homeless population.
Chief Operating Officer
Daniel is a builder of businesses. As an author, motivational speaker, and serial entrepreneur, he brings more than 30 years of wisdom and experience creating successful companies with him wherever he goes – from lectern to board room. Daniel excels at helping companies achieve more rapid organizational growth by focusing on improving the sales process. He firmly believes that investing time and effort to improving effectiveness by recruiting the right people for critical roles, and coaching a superior team that is aligned, engaged, and committed to success will pay big dividends. As the founder and CEO of three private equity-backed businesses, Dan has provided consulting and interim management to a variety of startups and large public companies. His favorite phrase is “grow or die.”
Daniel started his career at General Electric, where he entered the sales training program after graduating from college in 1979. During his eight years with GE, he served in a variety of sales and management roles in four different US cities.
Daniel received a BS and MBA from Marquette University. He has served as Director of Brill Street + Company, Direct Fit Inc., TalentDrive, Corporate Technology Communications, ThermoFluids, Inc. and CPRi. He was also the Chairman of the President’s Advisory Council for the YWCA of Chicago and a mentor with the Clinton Foundation’s Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
His book, Second Stage Entrepreneurship: Ten Proven Strategies for Driving Aggressive Growth is a useful guide for any entrepreneur making the transition from start-up to sustainable growth. It was published in late 2013 by Macmillan/Palgrave.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
John brings over 20 years of sales and leadership experience to DDI. He has traveled the world building high performing sales teams within organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 200 companies. In addition to his duties as a sales leader, John speaks at numerous sales industry conferences and was recognized by the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals (AA-ISP) in 2017, 2018, and 2019 as one of the 25 Most Influential Sales Professionals.
As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, John is responsible for driving global growth at DDI from strategy to execution. John has a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, and an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Indiana University.
Vice President of Technology
Ramnath brings more than 25 years of experience as an accomplished leader of technology initiatives for E-Commerce, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Insurance, Finance, and Entertainment industries. Developing technology strategies that meet ROI targets and achieve business results for startups and Fortune 500 is his niche.
As Vice President of Technology, Ramnath is responsible for outlining DDI’s technology vision, implementing technology strategies to yield competitive advantage, align DDI’s technology resources with company’s goals, ensuring high quality products as well as implementing a culture of security and compliance.
His higher education is global and characteristic of multiple master’s degrees in the fields of Biochemistry from Pune University and Software Engineering from University of St. Thomas, MN.
Ramnath volunteers with the following non-profit organizations:
- Ekal Vidyalaya is involved in education and village development in rural areas and tribal villages of India and Nepal.
- Isha Foundation is dedicated to raising human consciousness and fosters global harmony through individual transformation.
Vice President of Risk Management & Compliance
Adam graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BA in History and English. He has been making decisions with DDI since 2008. In that time he's held many different positions and worked in several capacities which gives him a unique perspective on methodologies for managers to employ when directing their teams.
In our country, the constantly changing and evolving regulatory patterns that our clients must adhere to vary from state to state, and staying on top of these laws and changes means our clients remain legally compliant. Adam excels in this area, and when our clients decide to partner with DDI, they have the peace of mind knowing that proven experience and deep industry knowledge are in their corner.
Similar to our CEO, Adam is an active participant in The Entrepreneurs’ Organization Key Executive Forum for many years.
Director of Strategic / Channel Partners
Carly has a deep passion for building relationships, working directly with our internal team and DDI channel partners by helping them through every step of the process, which makes her the ‘networker’ of DDI. She finds her new role as Director of Strategic / Channel Partners deeply rewarding. When her partners succeed, she succeeds, and she carries this ideology with her when dealing with every partner regardless of how large or small their operation might be.
Carly joined DDI in 2012, she left for an opportunity at GrubHub in 2017 and returned to DDI in 2019. With her experience, she has witnessed first-hand the incredible growth in the gig economy in which DDI operates. This growth fuels her drive and passion for the industry, her partnerships, and for DDI. Her deep understanding and fundamental knowledge of our industry means she can confidently provide accurate and timely knowledge to our channel partners, paving the way for their success.
Director of Operations: Enterprise
With nearly 10 years of experience in the field, Ernesto brings an immense amount of value to DDI. Having been with the company since 2014, he has been an integral part of DDI's growth and current positioning in the market. As the leader of our Enterprise Operations, Ernesto works directly with DDI's largest clients and is a key stakeholder in the planning and execution of our expansion roadmap.
Ernesto brings with him subject matter expertise in onboarding processes optimization, screening, adjudication, and risk mitigation best practices. Possessing a passion for problem-solving, Ernesto also works actively with cross-departmental teams in new business development and program implementation, and deployment.
Ernesto attended San Diego State University and is an alumnus of the Delta Xi chapter of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
Director of Operations: Accounting
Miro joined DDI in July 2020 coming from a last-mile delivery start up in the Bay Area that he helped grow and was ultimately acquired by a national chain. Before venturing into the start-up environment, last-mile delivery and gig-workforce, Miro worked in labor and financial compliance for different large corporations and global brands employee 100,000+ employees.
Miro holds a master’s degree from Carlson School of Business at University of Minnesota and is SPHR certified. He combines a unique set of analytical, system-optimization and process scaling skills. With his knowledge of labor and financial compliance, exposure to different industries and companies from high-tech start-ups to fully grown global brands, Miro is uniquely positioned to facilitate DDI’s long-term sustainable growth as a Director of Operations Accounting.
